With only five days left to go, we're well underway for a fantastic private view of the Call of the Wild exhibition this Thursday. Despite the snowy weather, the artists braved the cold and have all dropped of their pieces at A-side B-side Gallery ready for the grand opening. All of them have created exciting new original artworks especially created for the Call of the Wild and will be selling more of their wares at the show. Here we have a sneak preview of the prints, cards, badges, tote bags and much more that will be available to snap up alongside 

Ekaterina will be bringing copies of her Macmillan prize winning book Me and My Cat to buy at show alongside some other little trinkets.

We have some stunning prints from Willa alongside some very pretty greetings cards

Jenni Desmond will be selling signed copies of her lovable tale Red Cat Blue Cat. We've also got pilowcases and tote bags up for grabs

  

We've got several prints prints from Lorna, including a very cheeky badger.

Katriona has several copies of her beautiful handmade book Brockley Foxtrot and some superb packs of greetings cards featuring British birds.

Thomas has created a new set of giclee prints for the show and we have some fantastic zines from him too.

And there's much, much more on offer. Come down to the show on Thursday and see for yourself - would be great to see you there!

Introducing...Lorna Scobie

Lorna is a London based illustrator, fresh out of university with a head bulging full of cheeky characters and obscure stories. Her work often features animals, and she creates them using gestural marks and more often than not, various printmaking methods. Lorna has been selected by London Print Studio for their Graduate Award, and she is very excited about sinking her teeth into it –There are definitely a lot more creatures still scratching to get out, and she can't wait to get them on to paper!

We just adore Lorna's fresh and vibrant animal characters and can't wait to set our eyes on the new screen print she's created especially for The Call of the Wild.
